Country Hits: Songs From Nashville closes out Talcott Mountain Music Festival on July 26 (Rain Date July 27)

SIMSBURY – The Hartford Symphony Orchestra welcomed Landslide: A Tribute to the Music of Fleetwood Mac July 19 for the most well-attended show of the year at the Talcott Mountain Music Series, held at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center.

“We were so excited to welcome Landslide: A Tribute to the Music of Fleetwood Mac, the ideal summer weather and the musicians of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra made for a perfect summer evening,” said Ashley Fedigan, Director of Marketing & Public Relations with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. “With an impressive turnout of about 5,000 attendees the night was a perfect blend of classic Fleetwood Mac hits and a vibrant community atmosphere.”

There is one more Talcott Mountain Music Festival date for residents to attend on July 26 (Rain Date July 27). The program that evening will be Country Hits: Songs From Nashville. The show is described as follows: “Grace Leer and Rick Brantley join the HSO for Country Hits: Songs From Nashville! This honky-tonking, heartaching, rocking, solid gold celebration of everything America loves about Country music past and present. Featuring the classic Country hits you know and love from legendary stars Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash to the biggest stars of today like Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, The Chicks and Kacey Musgraves.”
